Senior Strategy Consultant (West Africa)
Currently, Dr Sam Aikhuomogbe is the Business Manager, Northern Region, BAOBAB Group. He is the President: International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP), Nigeria, and Adjunct Lecturer, Miva University: Business Management, Strategy Development & Entrepreneurship. He is also a Lecturer for Leadership & Entrepreneurship: Africa Centre for Leadership, Strategy & Development (Center LSD). On education. Sam obtained PhD in Management: Walden University: US in 2016. He bagged his master’s in finance at Grenoble Graduate School of Business: France from 2008-2010 (France), and a Bachelor of Science: Business Administration: Nigeria from 1997-2001. Other qualifications are Diploma in National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), in UK. He also obtained a certification on Principles of Risk Management in UK. Other recent certifications are: Sustainable Business Strategy at Harvard University; Artificial Intelligence: Implication to Business Management: MIT; Innovation & Design Thinking from Emeritus; Certified Expert in Microfinance Bank at Frankfurt; and Strategy Planning Professional (SPP) with International Association for Strategy Professionals (IASP, US.
Dr Sam was the Team lead for the Strategy Plan development of Baobab MFB as facilitated by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in 2021. Dr Sam has published several books as follows: A Green Management and Leadership for a Sustainable Africa: Creating Awareness (Co-author), Perception and Opinion of Nigerians to the Management and Response of COVID-19 (Co-author). Dr Sam wrote his first book (Best Seller): The Price of Retirement (Single Author), which was a product of his dissertation and life experience. Dr Sam dissertation is titled: Preparing Employees for Entrepreneurship in Retirement: Case Study of the Office of the Head of Service, which was well researched using senior staff of Head of service, Nigeria. Dr Sam have had several presentations in the past. They include Keynote Speaker: Louisville Girls Secondary School/ Graduation Ceremony, Channels Television: Beam Time: 2019,2020,2021,2022, 2023, Subject Matter Expert: Change management @ National Institute for Security, Abuja. Dr Sam also taught the Ministry of Petroleum resources in capacity building in 2014-2015. Dr Sam was engaged in a Bank-wide training with Zenith Bank when T-24 was introduced to the bank. Dr Sam was the sole architecture to the training of excellent customer service at the National Identity Management Commission from 2012-2015 brining in some private sector customer service orientation. Dr Sam hobbies include, football, reading, mentoring children, and mentoring.
