Timothy A. Jaiyeoba has over twenty (20) years of experience in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. He worked in Addax Petroleum from 2004 to 2018 and rose to become Acting Coordinator, Government Liaison where he facilitated and obtained timely requisite permits/approvals from government regulatory agencies within the timeline established for the KPI to ensure uninterrupted operations. He was able to secure over 80% of contract applications passed through NNPC approval stages amounting to the contract sum above $800million in two (2) years – 2014 and 2015. He also influenced the approval of $365 million legacy cost from NAPIMS (commercial regulator) and made a recommendation on the way forward for Addax Cost Recovery Issues of $1.3billion (Value-For-Money Audit). He was able to use the oil and gas laws and regulation to get Oil Prospecting License (OPL) 90 converted to Oil Mining Lease (OML) 126 without relinquishing any part of the block back to government resulting in over $60 million gain to Addax Petroleum.
In January 2019, he founded StrateDelta Nigeria Limited, a strategy, foresight, and management consulting firm with the aim of “Using Strategy to Improve Business Value” i.e., using strategy to effect progressive, positive, and meaningful change for the Oil and Gas (Energy), FMCGs, Fintech, Education, and Banking sectors.
He has the following professional certificates: a) Project Management Professional (PMP), b) Certified Cost Professional (CCP), c) Strategic Management (SMC) from St. Bonaventure University/LBL Strategies, USA and d) Certified Foresight Practitioner (CFP) from The Futures School/Kedge, now TFSX, USA. He is member of the Global Foresight Advisory Council (GFAC) for The Futures School (TFSX), Florida, USA.
