A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Dwayne Hawkins has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit and religious organizational health and growth. He is the pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church in Omaha, Nebraska. He earned a Double Major Bachelor of Science Degree in Biblical Studies and Management and Organizational Leadership in 2000 and a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with a Concentration in Educational Ministry in 2003 both from Grace University in Omaha, Nebraska. He also holds a Graduate Teacher Diploma from the Evangelical Training Association.
As a working pastor, Dwayne is the current two-term president of New Era Baptist State Convention of Nebraska, Inc., a Board Member of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc., the West Region Vice President of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, and a Board Member of the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.
As the Founder and President of DAH Consulting LLC., Dwayne holds university certification in “Strategic Management Performance System” from the George Washington University, Center for Excellence in Public Leadership and “industry” level certification from the International Association for Strategy Professionals as a Strategic Planning Professional and is currently the only Nebraskan holding this prestigious certification. Dwayne is also Workeffects Strategy Culture certified and holds certification in Church Consulting through the Society for Church Consulting (also the only person holding this certification in Nebraska).
